Waverton Evangelical Fellowship Church

G C Construction Ltd were selected to carry out a refurbishment scheme at the Evangelical Fellowship Church in Waverton, Cheshire.

The works involved internal re-modelling of the church to  provide a larger worship area to accommodate its growing numbers, creating a brighter and more welcoming entrance to visitors and parishioners and extending the meeting room.  The works were completed in January 2017.

“It was obvious from the first visit when Ken & Joe came to consider bidding for the contract that they had read the tender documents carefully and knew the potential difficult areas.  They also displayed an understanding of our requirements.

Throughout the contract, as the client, I was kept fully informed of progress and was pleased that when there was an unavoidable delay in one element they brought forward other aspects of the work.

The contract was completed on time and below budget and on several occasions I was offered potential cost savings which wouldn’t compromise the quality of the work.

Having Joe as a director of the company on site every day meant that sub-contractors were kept on target and quality maintained.”
